Any individual who accepts the association’s purpose and rules may join. The association has one membership category.
Membership begins when the board has received the written application and acceptance of the association’s purpose and rules, and the board has decided to accept the applicant as a member.
You can choose individual membership months or a 12-month payment period. The obligation to pay for the entire 12-month period arises at its start. Resigning does not remove unpaid instalments or bring their due dates forward. The end of a payment period does not end membership. A new 12-month period requires a new explicit choice. The board sets payment due dates.
You can resign by giving written notice to the board or its chair, or by having your resignation recorded in the minutes at an association meeting. Resignation takes effect when the notice is received or entered in the minutes.
Complete your membership application online. The board checks the details and accepts or rejects the application. Membership begins only after approval.
